Where did this happen: it looks as if it might be Ireland or possibly Scotland. The crane's number looks something like G4-G-3561; does that format say anything to anyone? Couldn't find anything by googling the name of either crane.

You might also find a want ad for a crane operator who knows to put down his frggen outriggers.

                Chuck

PS I was a crane operator for 20 years.
                That was just stupid....

PPS I couldn't see the outriggers on the small truck, but they usualy have them.

Check out Photo 3 you can see the outrigger next to edge, I'll assume that it slipped off that
Why is it called tourist season, if we can't shoot at them?

But look at the way the truck is leaning.
                        It starts in picture 2.
The only way that can happen is if the ourtrigger was not down all the way, or sinking.
If an outrigger is down all the way and on good purchase the only way for the truck to lean is for the tires to come off the ground on the off side of the truck.
He was getting compression of his suspention on the load side of the truck.
The truck lean is about the same in pics 2 & 3 so it was not a problem with a sinking ourtrigger or the lean would have increased sharply from pic 2 to 3.

                        Ergo: Outriggers not set correctly.
                        End of story.

                        Chuck

PS Mechanical failure of the outrigger would also look like that.
But then why would he have kept lifting the car from pic 2 to 3
The truth is he was in a hurry and just accepted the lean as no big deal because he had gotten away with shorting his riggers before.

Would have been funnier if the large crane joined the rest.
