Investment finally makes a payback

Remember I lost heavily on some maxi isa's due to a certain attack.

The value never recovered anyway. I transferred the money to a growth generator trust and today I got a payment of £7.96. Still made a loss becuase I'd have got more interest in my deposit account during those years anyway.

I had the same thing with fildelity. But it has made almost no money at all.

Well if I put the money in isa's years before sept 11th I'd been even more pissed off.

Been awhile, but did not you at least save income tax on the amount invested? Or was it just profits/income that was tax-exempt....
