Does that mean.. A dual dual core system will be possible under XP Pro?

I would hope so, doesn't XP Pro support two processors out of box? (that's one of the many advantages over the Home edition, if I recall) It supports Hyperthreading, which shows to the OS as two processors.

          Home also supports HT.
Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

Theoretically Home will support 1 dual cour and Professional will support two dual cores. I swear there was another thread about this a few days ago.

              What about quad cores?.

Thats is next on AMD's things to do list.

Looks like with mhz topping out we will be getting new CPU's with more and more silicon in the future instead of less every year.
