  • What video cards have you owned?

I know this has been informally asked over the years. Just curious.

    Let's see:

    Various non-3d cards
    Number9 (can't remember the model)
    Matrox Mystique
    Matrox G200
    Matrox G400
(Nvidia Geforce2 MX - bought for Son's computer)
    ATI Radeon(Original) AIW
    Ati Radeon 9700 Pro
    Asus X800 XT PE
Ladies and gentlemen, take my advice, pull down your pants and slide on the ice.

    1) CGA outputting to a mono monitor (Amstrad 1512)

    2) Trident something or other

    4) Cirrus Logic 7556 in my P133 Laptop

    4.5) 3dfx Voodoo 3

    5) Matrox G450

    6) Matrox Parhelia

    7) (not in order this one) SiS740/962L onboard graphics in my webserver machine.

Also I have a PCI S3 Virge lying around for testing purposes that I pulled out of a machine being trashed a few years ago.

not going to list them all,
first one was an old Monochrome adaptor (32kb ram) with a printer port on it

Shoulda paid attention to the connector. DOh!

This only includes cards in my personal rigs, not the dozens of various cards from every maker under the sun that I've used in work-related, company owned rigs...

Whatever was built into the old AppleIII that was my first PC
A multitude (at least a dozen) of various trident 512k-1meg ISA/VLB/PCI cards
Millennium (original) (at least 2 or 3 of these, still have a 4meg on the shelf)
MillenniumII (again, had several over the years, still have an 8 meg on the shelf)
                        M3D
                        CL Voodoo2 12 meg
G200 Millennium (still here, on the shelf)
ATI Rage Fury MAXX (what a flaming POS)(the last personal card I actually paid for )
G400 Millennium (MAX'd via BIOS, still in daily use in my office rig)
G450 Millennium (still in use in my step-aunts home rig)
G550 Millennium (still in use in a buddy's son's rig)
Parhelia (pre-production BB sample card at OEM clocks, still in use in my home rig)

                            In order (roughly):

                            -Some Trident card
-S3 Trio64 2MB PCI (still here somewhere, not quite sure where)
-Matrox Millennium 2MB PCI (still working, it's in one of my test rigs right now)
-ATI RageIIC 2MB integrated (does that count?)
-Matrox G400MAX 32MB AGP (w00t. Still working in my server PC)
-ATI Radeon 7500 64MB AGP (on semi-permanent loan to a friend)
-3Dfx Voodoo2 12MB (bought it for cheap about a year ago for use in my old games machine)
-Sapphire Radeon 9800 Pro Ultimate 128MB AGP (curently in my main machine)

It seems my list pales in comparison to some of the other MURCers here
