      and I haven't even upgraded to SP2 yet!
      They should really release another FREE Security Update CD for all those 56kers !

          Well they do provide free SP2 CDs...for me, at least, there were only two updates that I needed to install, just a few MB.

          Also, how come you don't have broadband, Guchi? I can understand it for people that live in remote areas, but you're in a big city...there's gotta be something available in the 15-20 USD/month range, no?

                    Only two on one machine and one on another.

                    Well it's about time they started issuing office updates via winblows updates. Thats a good move.

                      I have SP2, and I have one, 2.9MB download from this.
                      Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

                          And there IS a SP2 security update CD.
                          Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

                              This is nuts...
                              My windows-update gave me notice that there were new updates. Upon downloading, it says 'this update could contain a vulnerability, please click here to apply another update before it to prevent this possible vulnerability'.
                              So I clicked it and was directed to a microsoft page. This page had a comment, stating that this prior update is not needed in Windows XP...
