  • G400-TV - Premiere - Jerky Playback

Anyone know how to fix jerky playback when playing from the timeline when using G400-TV with Premiere?

    printman,

See my reply to the first time you asked this question.

I have a G450 and playback thru the DVDmax feature was poor until I added those two Prem60.ini file entries. The disable DV on desktop part may not be relevent if you don't have an OHCI or other firewire card, but it can't hurt and may make the code take a different interal path.

IF you are using PAL, there is a patch on adobe's website that may or may not help.

I've seen other reports that Premier 6 timeline playback "improved immensely upon un-installing MSP6".

Trial and error is what passes for tech support these days. Good Luck and let us know if you find a solution.

I tried the two ini file entries and it did not help. Seems that has more to do with DV. I am using MJPEG through the G400. I also do not have MSP on my machine.

My problem is simply playback jerkiness. Not the problem you stated.

      Thanks for the suggestion.
