Thats pretty interesting about the two towns they have singled out in NJ. Rumson is very afflunet communty with some very big names in the Music industry living there (Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen)..i'm not sure what the school population is there, but I can think of several other towns locally that have large schools with a larger student population going to them.

I'm wondering if the schools were listed because they may have had web sites that layed out their school floor plans.

A man described as an Iraqi insurgent involved in anti-coalition activities had downloaded school floor plans and safety and security information about elementary and high schools in the six states, according to officials.

they were probably listed because someone in Govt. like DoJ or FBI or state dept. has kids who go there
I dont mean to be flippant but thats the way these people look at things everyone is a target and nothing scares more than scaring the people who are supposed to keep us regular folk safe

Law enforcement officials said they had no easy explanation why an insurgent in Baghdad would be gathering such specific information about American schools, some of them in small towns.

I wonder if there's anything "special" going on in those towns, like secret military weapons facilites... ?
