The entire Project Gutenberg online library into one package...12.000 books in the palm of your hand! Link was coming down at 1200KB/s for me. This is not warez, as all these books are open-license and freely available.

wow nice! Looks like I'll be done with the download in a few minutes. I'm assuming there is a TOC.

      Oh, and thanks!

Damn, this is almost worth getting a DVD burner for by itself.

While I'm here, have a link to the Online Books Page.

                          Gutenberg?
                          GUTENBERG?!?!

                          ARRRRRRRRGGGGGGG!!!!

As some may remember, I was working for a private school for a while. One of my on-going projects was to download books from Gutenberg, run them through a set of macros and a voice simulator to come up with butchered versions of the books in the crazy old school directors 'e-writing' format. I had to do this to hundreds of books, and I'm sure that now that I'm gone, someone else is stuck with the project, and that person most likely hates Gutenberg as much as I do.

                          Here's a sample:

When I quit, I swore if I ever had to look at that site again, someone would have to suffer. Now I've been traumatised by this memory, and I'm going to have to take my vengence out on Lecter....
