Usually I run both, run AdAware, and then follow up with spybot. Been safe so far...

I recently had a friend with a really severe IE hijack. Spybot and AdAware found and removed lots of spyware but couldn't clean IE.
After doing a lot of research, and getting advice from people here, I found a newer tool called AdwareAway. It worked really well and saved me from having to rebuild my friend's PC from scratch.P.S. You've been Spanked!Comment
