  • Halo in Surround

    Hello ....
Unfortunately it only works at 1920x480 ... higher resolutions require a 256MB card apparently.

To get Halo going in Surround... (you need to be running the 1.07 drivers)
Select properties of the desktop shortcut and at the end of the target line add ...

    -vidmode 1920,480,75

that is the resolution followed by refresh rate....

... it should read something like this ...
    "C:\Microsoft Games\Halo\halo.exe" -vidmode 1920,480,75

Download the FOV hack by Racer_S at ToCAEDIT...
Start up the tool ... set it to Field of View (FOV): 2.5
Start up the game and press the * key to enable the FOV hack.

Only works with the 1.04 Patch installed.

    Enjoy ....
    Thank you Racer_S

    Some screenshots ...

The Menus are all OK ...

and cut scenes are adjusted too ...

      Paddy,
Whoa! Thanks! Halo is about the only shooter game I like. (In general, I only like shooting asteroids or big, mutated insects. )
