  • anyone tried build 1.04 of Ad-Aware SE?

installed it today & it's constantly freezing at one point during every scan under XP.
does it work ok for anyone else?

I d/l'd and used the latest version last Friday (I think it was 1.04). I did a manual definitions update as that XP Pro machine had no internet connection while I was disinfecting it.

I had no issues (apart from several hundred nasties on there...)

BTW, does anyone know if auto-updates are still supposed to work for the previous version of Adaware? I had to do manual updates on that last week. (Sorry to hijack Ayoub)
      FT.

looks like I could have had a corrupted d/load as I uninstalled it & re d/loaded a fresh copy & all is well now.
is it me but is scanning with this version extremely quick when compared with the 1.03 build?

          I found it faster too.
The Welsh support two teams when it comes to rugby. Wales of course, and anyone else playing England

There is a problem with 1.04 and Lavasoft released v1.04 build 2

Then you'll need to download the new build if have problems with 1.04.

That's not cool around here. No warez on MURC, please.
Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.
