  • Button moving to Williams :(

The home of Formula 1 on BBC Sport online. Includes the latest news stories, results, fixtures, video and audio.

Damn shame. It's been great to watch Jenson do so well with a relatively fresh-faced team. Going back to Williams shows only loyalty to himself. He would have been a kind of 'peoples champion' if he had won with BAR.

Given Williams' performance this year it seems like quite a gamble anyway!

The kids too arrogant for my money, hes got a good smattering of talent, but way too much swagger for a man who has yet to win anything.
On a side note, McLaren are looking good for next year, both raikonnen and montoya are completely gutsy drivers.
is a flower best picked in it's prime or greater withered away by time?

I just read yesterday that Mika is driving next year for BAR. So he will be back after 3 years.

Jacques Villeneuve is born and raised where I live. Just look at my location.

That will be interesting...he retired after a poor season following his Championship. Gotta wonder where his head will be.

Awesome driver when at his peak, 2005 could be one of the most competitive seasons yet with these lineups:
                hakkinen - BAR
                montoya/raikonnen - mclaren
                button - williams
                schmuacher - ferrari

thats 5 real good drivers all in very decent machines, i think webber is going to williams too, has the potential to excel, as well as mixing the renaults into the cake.
                getting extited already!

Don't worry it'll soon pass after the first race
