It most certainly looks like the storyline's gone back to The Dark Knight in tone, which if true is EXCELLENT!!

    Trailer:

    Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne:

    Michael Cain as Alfred Pennyworth:

Gary Oldman as Det. Jim Gordon:

Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox (COO Wayne Enterprises):

    Batman:

and last, but by no means least, The BatMobile:

Looks like the off-roader from HELL!!

Some BIG names in this one.

Morgan Freeman. Does the man ever take a vacation? Every time you turn around, he's in another flic. Not that it's a bad thing, he's a great actor. Lends some class to anything he's in.

Michael Cain as Alfred...I dunno. I like Cain, but he just does't seem like a butler type to me.

Gary Oldman. Cool, I love his acting. Best bad guy of his generation. Never recognise him though. Looks completely different every time I see him

And that batmobile looks ridiculous. But they all have I guess
In my book, there's only one Batmobile

I liked the Batmobile from the first movie.

I kinda like this one, too. It's supposed to be much like the one from the Dark Knight comics. I'll have to see it in action first though.

I just hope the tires are bulletproof.

Why not? You can get bulletproof tires. They cost a LOT but then Bruce Wayne shouldn't have a problem with that

BTW: ther BatMobile from the Dark Knight series was based on a TANK chassis....as in it straddled 2-3 lanes of road , but I'll grant that the new one is certainly in the spirit of the one in DKR.

The new batmobile is perhaps just a little over the top for me.

            Otherwise this all looks awesome!

I like the car. But I think it might be better suited for T4 than Batman.

Why is Christian Bale performing two roles? Did not they have enough money for another actor or is he simply that good? Same for the other fella.

Christian Bale is "just that good." He was the main character/boy in "Empire of the Sun," the 3.5 hour Spielberg epic thing. He's done a lot of good stuff.
