    Janes Defence story in coming issue;

    seems North Korea may be refurbing old Russian subs intended for scrap for use with nuclear tipped missiles (also old Russian designs);

        especially when you think about what happened with the refurbished subs Canada bought a few years ago.. leaks everywhere

              I have a strange feeling if they start cruising around in those that one is going to spring quite a bit leak and not come back up. Pretty easy to sink an old nuclear armed sub and not hear a thing about it when the country isn't supposed to have them.

                  Hrm thats true. I doubt Japan would want to grab the warhead either, since odds are coming from NK it would be unstable.
