I don't use one anymore but my bro wants to get a pair so he can keep in touch with his daughter when she's at university.
As if she won't be too busy partying to videoconference with her parents!

I just got a pair of Creative webcams at work that have a built in mic and the software does face-tracking, making it ideal for videoconferencing. Overall quality and sensitivity seem better than the old webcam3 I have at home. Its ~£40 from Scan.
