  • Mozilla/Firefox vs Opera part ii

    vs
Mozilla is the not-for-profit behind the lightning fast Firefox browser. We put people over profit to give everyone more power online.

First of all, Mozilla has it's own store while Opera is using a 3rd party provider. Mozilla wins.

Opera has a lot more available merchandise (26 items compared to 6), including items for the ladies. There is also a greater variety of items (17 compared to 3). Opera wins with bonus win for having a wall clock .

Mozilla's shirts have a lot more color as opposed to Opera's mostly white shirts. Also, I think the Firefox t-shirt is tight (as in cool, not width-wise). Mozilla wins.

    vs
While Opera's bear is bigger (11 inches) and gets points for having an "I Heart" t-shirt, a red panda measuring in at 9 inches is a more original stuffed animal. Mozilla wins.

So there you go. Mozilla and Firefox are the better browser in a 3-2 decision.

Hey, this gave me an idea. Someone should put together open source gift packs. They would contain a variety of CDs of distributions and software and merchandise. It would be a nice way to save on shipping and and contribute to multiple projects at once.
