  • Parhelia and BIOS logo question.

I just replaced my P750 with a Parhelia PHA128 (not the new 8X) card. The card is in an Asus motherboard model P4C800E that has the latest BIOS. I did get the P750 to properly display the BIOS and the Logo screen on the motherboard but I have had no luck with the Logo screen on the Parhelia.

I have version 1.5.0.6 Bios on the parhelia (from the BIOS readme) and the powerdesk reports the BIOS to be 1.8-34. I did try different combinations of the following

    ParVBE.exe
    SystemLogoFix.exe
    SystemLogoColorFix.exe

    but with no luck….

Since the Asus Logo did work with the P750, is there a difference between the P750 and Parhelia that could explain why I can’t get it to work? I wanted to do some things with the custom Logo on the Asus board.

The Parhelia is a really nice card!

    Thanks,

    Zepp

Yeah there is a bug in the non 8x Parhelia that causes the bios logo bug. I've heard that the fix works for some and not for others, so I don't know what else to suggest.

I've got that same card and the Bios logo on my Asus P4PE works just fine. Though I think it's an irritant more than anything... I prefer to be able to see my devices on the list flash by... but that's just me. They System Logo Fix worked fine for me...
