  • Gorky Zero in surround

    Hello,
To get Gorky Zero to work in surround ...
Find the file ... standard_game.feel .... open it with WordPad

Modify the .... ScreenWidth ... line to read 3072.000000
Modify the .... ScreenHeight ... line to read 768.000000

That's it ....no FOV adjustment necessary ...
There is a minor problem ....
The menu text can be a little unreadable where the font size is too big and so overlaps (a bit like UT2004) but I was able to get through it with out any real problem.
In the game there are text boxes that come up from time to time that also can be difficult to read all of the text ... this wasn't really a problem either and the game is very playable.

    Some screens ... Enjoy ......

It has just been released in the UK ... it is quite good if you like techno - stealth third-person shooters.
The cameras views are a little different to the norm for this type of game but it works really well.
Close-up for the stealth parts of the game and the high overhead view for the rest of it... both controlled by the player.

          Hi Guys,
A few more screens which I thought might be of interest ...

First an indoor overhead shot ...

A shot showing the in game menu for inventory item selection ... lots of toys ...

          Using binoculars ...

and the Game Menu ... not so bad...

I'm really enjoying this one ... there are plenty of gadgets and the stealth nature of the game is a change from the frantic pace of most of games I have been playing ...
Here's a great web site for more info ... http://gorky.gry-online.pl/menu_en.php
