Do you sit on ATI's hompage hitting F5?

*edit* The 4.6 softmod drivers are out too

The Welsh support two teams when it comes to rugby. Wales of course, and anyone else playing England

I think I have the 4.3's installed at home. Am I missing something by not upgrading?
Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

New bugs, fixes for old bugs that don't actually fix the bugs, more bugs, some more bugs, performance increases that raise the performance to levels still noticibly lower than previous drivers... yeah, you're missing stuff.

For awhile there, ATI was actually fixing their reputation on their drivers... at least around the time of the first Radeon and even up until the first few Catalyst drivers... but it seems to me that they are going back to their old habits with having crappy drivers again....

Ah, I have no problems with these drivers!

I think the driver teams of any and all grafix hardware are fighting an uphill struggle.

As games get more and more complicated, more and more bugs appear.

Like Farcry having issues with both Nvidia and ATI drivers - but both teams are getting flamed that THEIR drivers are lousy - -until someone with BOTH card types noticed that its actually a gamebug.

            Heh. Tough working conditions.

On a personal note: I have no problems with the latest couple of ATI drivers. Actually I have had NO problems with any of the ATI drivers I have had - I think my first set was 3.6.

ayoub_ibrahim, are you one of the beta testers?

Would explain how he always knows, I installed them last night and haven't had any issues yet, bit early to tell though.

                      A good comparrison here

Doesn't seem any real performance gains for the 9700 Pro overall. Interesting to see what benifcts X800 users get.
