  • Hitman Contracts in Surround

    Hello ...
I asked Dave at ToCA Race EDIT if he could make me a FOV Hack tool for Hitman Contracts... and he did ... isn't he a good man !
    Download the tool here ...

This website is for sale! game-editing.net is your first and best source for all of the information you’re looking for. From general topics to more of what you would expect to find here, game-editing.net has it all. We hope you find what you are searching for!

Hitman Contracts must be patched to Build 174

There are two ways to setup for Surround Gaming ...

The first ... only allows 1920x480 ... and FAA-16x doesn't work ... so it looks very jaggy.
In the HitmanContracts.ini change the Resolution to 1920x480
Run the FOV Hack tool set it as follows...

    Field of View (FOV): 0.505
    Cam Distance: 350

    Run the game.

The second ... (my preferred option) ... allows all the Surround resolutions but some of the cut scenes don't play .... or at least you can't see them ... you can hear them ... they can be skipped by pressing Esc.
FAA-16x does work and I can run the game smoothly at 3072x768.
    In the HitmanContracts.ini change the line ..... DrawDll RenderD3D.dll ..... to ..... DrawDll RenderOpenGL.dll
Change the Resolution to 3072x768 (or any Surround resolution you like)
Run the FOV Hack tool and set it as follows...

    Field of View (FOV): 0.505
    Cam Distance: 350

    Run the game... Enjoy ....

Make sure to disable post filter in the graphic options, this gives a nice performance boost.

I actually was bored and checked out M's Surround Gaming page, and they have actually updated it!!! Well, at least more than what it was the last time I had seen it.

Check it out, they even mention the forum postings in Tech Support over there for the "not officially supported" games.
