G450 dual head & W2K, two questions
I found a review that said 1600x1200 on each monitor is supported now with the G450 whereas the G400 was stuck at 1280x1024. I realize that on W2K each monitor needs to run the same resolution but I can live with this as long as both are at least 1600x1200. Is anyone having success actually running dual head at 1600x1200 on each monitor with windows 2000?
Second, about the DVDmax feature? Is it working correctly on w2k? Say I have my computer monitor display at 1600x1200 and a TV for the second head, can I have DVDmax enabled without having to change my computer display resolution?
What driver version is recommended? I only care about 2D and directX overlay stuff. 3D or openGL would not be needed on these two systems.
I guess I have a third question. Is $160 a decent price for g450 dual head? I can pick them up locally for that.
