Lies by the our council over flooding

[The PIT]

Earlier this week the council made false claims about the amount of rain that fell to cover their asses over the flooding.

The claims were that 34mm of rain fell in an hour. Hence the drains couldn't cope. Rubbish although it was wet it easn't that wet.

Rain in the first hour

3.6mm Shouldn't have been a problem

Rain in the 2nd hour
16.0mm Perhaps slight flooding where drains were blocked

Rain the 3rd hour
4.6mm shouldn't have been a problem.

I'll just right to the local paper and await there response. If they've got any sense they should say it thunder rain and can be local. It's likely they got the figures from leeds for the leeds area.
