  • Change Heatsink on P750

    Hi,

I want change the cooler on my P750 to a passive cooler. How large is teh cooler o an P650 and is a heatsink like that enougth for a P750? Afaik is the P750 only a "P650 with cables and loud".

I try to get the Zalmann ZM-50HP and want to use only the upperhalf of this cooler, since the card is in my barebone and I need the PCI-Slot on the lefthand side from the AGP.

    ZM-50HP

Has anyone tried this one on an Px50?

think the p750 has a slightly higher core clock and produces more heat.

Which is why it has a fan on it.

i have it on my Parhelia and it works great even though it doesn't completely cover the gpu.

my brother has it on his ati 9700pro and it is great there too.

no experience with a P series. are the mounting holes different on a P750 than a Parhelia? P is non-std. hope it would fit, you wouldn't need the optional fan.

thanks a lot. if it fits on an parhelia, then it will fit on teh p-series. (which has a smaller chip / core as i believe)
