does anybody know a nice bmp2jpg utility that works correctly, preferebly keeps original filenames (with .jpg extension ofcouse), allows you to set a quality, and Drag&Drop multiple files?

I've tried a few now, but some make weird errors in the conversion, some won't allow me to set quality, and some don't keep filenames.

    thanks

error example (see the left side)

btw, that program only seems to make this error with all bitmaps created with Fraps and my 9800 Pro, i still had some old screens made with the same fraps and a G400 which get converted correctly, talk about weird.

              ImageMagick is your friend.

Supports about 140 formats, can take a bunch of images, scale, crop, rotate, array, make animations, etc. etc.

Runs from the command line, so can be used in batch files. There is also an image viewer that can be used to do a subset of the funtions the command line version does.

I've used CompuPic for this for years. No problems. You can set the quality level and tailor in as much detail as you have room for in your target file size. It's also not too expensive.

As I have only used this with my G400MAX and Parhelia, can't say what would happen on a 9800.
