  • Matrox P750. Dodgy connection using Y lead. Please help!

    Hi,

I have recently brought a Matrox P750 card. I am using the Y lead to power my monitor. (My other two monitors are on their way). However, my monitor never comes on when I power up. Only with serious fiddling does it power up and even then the screen is green.

To me, the Y lead seems to have a lot of weight dragging down onto the socket. The screws that are supposed to go from the lead onto the card are too short and dont even connect!

Any suggestions or do I have a duff card?

    Many thanks,
    Steve

Probably the Y Lead mate, because if your getting a green screen its because the Red & Blue wires are not connected inside the lead

    Re
    Green
    Blue.

Contact Matrox and get a RMA for a replacement.

You should not be using the Y splitter for just one monitor. That cable is for display 2 and 3.
