    Matrox G550

    Hi everyone,

    I'm getting a Matrox G550 32MB card @ $25US. I'm confused about its performance & thought that maybe u guys can help me abt it. Can anyone please told me abt the performance of this card compared to ?????

    Also I want to know that will it run OK with my nForce2 Ultra400 8X mobo.....coz i hear that 3.3V card can't be run in 8X mobo.......

    It should work no problem in that mobo. G550 is a 1.5/3.3 volt card, and will automatically set itself to the proper voltage.
    Performance-wise, it's no speed demon in 3D. Comparable perhaps with an old TNT2. 2D speed is good.
