  • EMC7 any good?

Seems a bit bloated to me but burns RicohJPN DVD+R@8x fine in my LDW411S@811S. Have burnt a VCD without too much trouble too. Because I don't like to view common tasks in folder I hate what they've done to creator classic. Burning DVD-Video is relatively straightforward though

He abbreviated the thing, but I think we're talking about Roxio Easy Media Creator 7.

The program he used to flash his 411S probably came from here, but let's see him verify that.

Used that eeprom thingy (be very careful). Then zebramod v4. I accidentally flashed my CDRW with the 811S firmware. Nearly shit my pants as I thought it was fubar. downloaded the latest firmware as a bin and reflashed it. It works still, WHEW!!. I would advise not to have anything else on the ide controller that could be misflashed. Yeah, EMC7 is Roxio Easy Media Creator 7. I think they looked at what was out there and decided to make an all in one package that can do everything, including making graphics for use with media creation. Seems like they have included the functionality of dvdshrink/clonedvd in the package. Haven't tested that functionality out yet. I find it annoying that the capture section does not enable one to change the tuner channel though. It makes decent quality vcds.
