It includes a feature that tells computer users whether anti-virus software is installed and working.
Will it complain when the antivirus program doesn't detect the MS_Windows virus?

Here's a simple test of your av software, the good old EICAR test string:

    X5O!P%@AP[4\PZX54(P^)7CC)7}$EICAR-STANDARD-ANTIVIRUS-TEST-FILE!$H+H*

Bah! I't cant be a bad thing... If you don't liek it - disable it!

I'd rather have extra protection in the OS than it's current state...
The Welsh support two teams when it comes to rugby. Wales of course, and anyone else playing England

At a recent RSA conference, Microsoft also said it was looking into "behavioural blocking" technology to limit the damage caused by worms and viruses if they do infiltrate computers.
The best foolproof blocking technology is NEVER to use MSIE or any flavour of Outlook. We don't need Billy to tell us that, the ba-a-a-astard.

Hmm, some people consider Windows to be a virus... Would the MS virusdetector do the same...?
