  • a letter to the Democratic National Committee

This is a letter to the Democratic National Committee. I found it interesting...

    Dear DNC:

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to speak my mind. I lost my job
this past year. When Clinton was president, I worked in a prosperous
enterprise. But in the last year, we had to close our operations. Far worse,
I lost two of my sons in Bush's evil war in Iraq. They gave their lives for
their country, and for what? My pain of losing my sons is indescribable.
While it is trivial next to the loss of my sons, I regret to say that I also
lost my homes. I simply had nothing left.

I am a senior citizen with various medical problems. I'm not in a position
where I can begin a new career. I was reduced to the point where I had to
live in a hole in the ground, all because of President Bush. And when the
authorities found me there, did they have any compassion for my misfortune
and ailments? No, I was arrested. If I had any money left, I would donate it
to the Democratic party. If Al Gore had been elected in 2000, I guarantee
you, I would still have a job, a home, and most importantly, my sons!

    Regards,
    Saddam Hussein

You got it all wrong, it was Rummy and papa Bush as head of CIA that were making/approving deals with Saddam.

Hey, let's not start calling names here. He only did what some reps do when there's an anti-Bush joke here. And I must say I find it immature from both sides to not be able to take a joke, though I can understand the desire to point out the "truth" is different from what is portrayed in a joke

                Az,

I normally don't snap at people, but 9 out 10 times UtwigMU is posting something blatantly anti-American. I enjoy hearing other peoples views, but not when its constantly same BS over and over.

This is really temp material, but I don't think Utwig is posting something Anti-American. I rather think (though I must admit I don't follow the mudwrestling in temp that much) he is stating his political opinion, which might be Anti-Bush, but do not mistake this for Anti-Americanism.

If indeed Utwig is Anti-American, that'd be both childish and foolish, equally so as being Anti-Slovenic, Anti-German, or Anti-Iraquean (not to be mistaken with to be against Saddam Hussein).
