Another day another virus. Great fun again this morning. Virus scanners that can't clean it filling the screen with pop ups. Whippee.
It's now on our network drives becuase some folders are called share. Whippee.

At last count we had over 15,000 instances of this virus on the network, I thought we were protected but sophos released an 'improved' sig this afternoon.

Good job I'm away from work tomorrow.

I had a client with it. He had around 300 registry entries to start the virus, causing the computer to run out of VM and crash. Had to boot to WinPE and clean up the reg before it was clean.

The record number of infected files on one machine is 3000 files.
Theres normally only one reg entry unless this has been updated since last time I looked. Are you sure it wasn't 300 files???
          Most machines I've seen have 1000+ files so 15000 isn't a lot.
I've just seen the list of infected machines so I'm going to busy next week.
This virus doesn't delete itself so it's going to be around for some time. Grrrrrrr.
