  • a program that allows attachments in outlook?

My father just phoned and asked me why he coulndt open attachments in his outlook / outlook express.

I know why. Explaining this to my father tho' - and over the phone to booth?

When I disabled this feature for myself, I went into the registry.

But I think I once spotted a program that did this automatically.

    Anyone seen it recently?

It would be nice if it didnt just allow EVERYTHING - but allowing .zip and .url would make my life easier.

You could make a .reg file that your dad would just have to click twice to change the registry. I'm no registry programming expert but it's easy to do - you just have to know the right keys.

        I dont have that option.
What version is that supposed to appear in?
        (Im using outlook 2002 sp2).

Ill check if its the version that my dad's using.

Making a .reg file would be quite usefull! Ill have to do some research on the various settings tho' - and first and foremost figure out what version my father is using (and if its outlook or outlook express).

        Ill go visit this weekend.

        Any other ideas?

There is a third party app that does it... Check your PM.
