  • DVD Burner Advice??

Thinking of getting a Poineer AO6 Burner.
    Any downsides to this thought?

    Cheers

Other than only doing -R and -RW, none that I can think of. I've got a A03 and an A06 and been very pleased with both. You can probably find more versatility and speed in some of the latest greatest models but for dependability and plain old getting-the-job-done, I like my Pioneers.

What is this? The specs say it does +R/RW as well as - R/RW.

I'm waiting for A07 to replace my A03.

I think you're right. Honestly, I had never really looked at the specs on my A06. I've worked with -R so much that I guess I forgot about the +R, etc. Thank you, Brian.

On a side note, I heard something, not long ago, about some method of upgrading the A06 to burn dual layer media but I haven't really looked into it.
