  • matrox on a mac?

i thought i read somewhere that matrox never available on mac systems then i came accross this while browsing ebay: link
any comments? Is this a real product. seems kinda pricy but I bet its real nice for 2d aps at least if drivers exist.

i've emailed the seller inquiring about drivers. As soon as i get a response I update here.

seller says he is including a driver cd which he got though promax tech support guy via password no mention of what standards opengl or os support the drivers have.

Seems this is true. Have a look here: http://www.macsonly.com/xdhmax.html

for drivers you've to email their support, since you need a username/passwort for their support site:

ProMAX Systems support site for professional video & film servers. Standard Hours, M-F 8am to 8pm EST.

    Cheers, Hannes

PS: can you help me? Where's the del key on a mac keyboard? Thanks!

Matrox sold the G400 chip to Promax, a Mac dealer, who put together a DH G400-like Mac card...the drivers come from Promax, so it's technically not a Matrox card.
