I haven't used it in about 6 months and am getting a plethora of errors....

    Unspecified recorder error
    reset occured
    could not perform endtrack
    invalid writestate
    simulation failed

I've uninstalled and re-installed Nero and no luck so far.

Is this my excuse to get a DVD/CD burner

That "app accelerator" is just intels own UDMA driver that is enginered to make the hdd faster on the expense of CPU cycles, the complete opposit of the thought behind UDMA.

It usualy wreaks havok with atapi devices
