  • Excel can this be done.

I've got some web pages containing data and grapths from an excel spreadsheet. Is it possible to pace a link on each chart to allow the user to go striaght back to the homepage????

How are the graphs being displayed on the webpages? As images or as embedded excel charts?

Well Excel here is just saving itself as some (probably very messy but clever enough) HTML - with the graphs as pictures. That means that you could edit the HTML directly to set the graph pictures as links to the homepage (right click on the graph to find its name, then search in the source for it, then wrap it with A HREF= tags, and add border=0 to the img tags if necessary). I don't think that there's a way to do this automatically from Excel's HTML creations - although I haven't really played with that so don't know to be fair.

Thought you might have been embedding excel files natively in frames on an intranet for a moment - which would have made the answer very easy - "no"!
