  • using msp 6.0 with tmpeg ?

Since i cant use tmpeg with msp 6.0 as a plugin, i suppose i have to save my work to avi in msp 6.0.
My worry is if i loose quality with the ekstra save compared to encode directly to mpg in msp 6.0.
What do you guys do ?
    I am using a dc10+ card.

I've gotten very good results with TMPGEnc and the DV files I've made to send to the camcorder via firewire. See Doc's answer to my question about "vibrating top edge" for some important settings info.

Try running TMPGEnc on the MJPEG avi file you've made as output back to tape. So I guess my answer is save the AVI in your project's editing format.

I render my scenes as HuffYUV encoded lossless video, encode it to MPEG with TMPGEnc 12a and then link them using TMPGEnc's join feature.

This, however, may well change when Ulead makes the mpEGG! encoder plugin available for MSPro6. Combined with Win2K and NTFS this would be one helluva combo....
