Upload of the new maps to the server is in progress.
I have taken the server offline during this time.
The server will be put back online when I get up, in about 5 hours.

Taking a drive test of the new maps, some of them are simply superb, like Angkor, Aristocracy, Bloom, Nirvana and Victoria.

A word of advice on M-J4m-phearphactory, the map is too large (53mb) to update through the MURC UT2003 server so you'd better get the 12mb .zip and install manually. In the end, it's not an outstanding (looks, layout...) map for the amount of space it takes.
Another large map is DM-Nirvana][ (65mb uncompressed, 17mb archive), at least this one's somewhat worth it.

Well, I downloaded all those maps, and played a couple rounds.
That Dr. Who map is cool...Tardis, Daleks, K9, etc.
But I got my clock cleaned.
Obviously after all this time wielding a light sabre in JKA has dulled my run shoot run shoot instincts.
Guess I need some practice in 'shoot em in the back' gaming...

Ok I lied, I got kinda pissed while trying to play Wolf:ET and UT2003 with the G400, at first it seemed alright but after a while of play it was just too sluggish. Parhelia's back in my AGP slot now.

But yeah, Sat/Sun sounds good for me.

Yes, but, not this weekend. I'll have to edit the config files & uploading them requires me to stop the server & I don't feel like dealing with ir right now. Perhaps next week
