  • Best free antivirus?

    Hi!

I thought it was about time to get a virus scanner. Which one is the best?

AVG free edition does the job for me:
Download free antivirus and malware protection. Tune up your PC, Mac, & Android. Encrypt your connection and browse anonymously with a VPN.

Doesn't impact PC performance too much either.

According to reviews on www.chip.de it does not have to hide from the commercial competition, and I dont have any problems with it so far.

using both F-Secure 2004 and Norton AV 2003. I can say F-Secure is much better when it comes to perfomance. F-Secure is on my slower machine and there seems minimal impact on the comp's performance.
