  • Download from memory stick

    Hi All

Off topic I guess. Maybe someone has a solution for me.

    My camera is Sony DCR-PC100E

I have taken the pics at Super Fine 1152x864. When I download from the memory stick to computer via XPs "get pictures" function, the size is 16kb 96dpi and 30.48x24.384 millimeters.

If I capture via Corel Paint the pic is 30.48x24.384 millimeters at 300dpi and 304kb.

Can get better results than this or is it all I can expect.

    Thanks in advance

Did you try the Sony’s Image Transfer Software?
It must be bundled on a CD with your camera.

I own a Nikon digital camera and I am using the NikonView program to transfer all my photos in full resolution JPG. It converts, depending on the settings, the cameras file name to a file name containing the date, time etc. The cameras own software saves even some other parameters too. No other software does it better transfer than the cameras own.
I suppose the Sony’s Image Transfer Software does a similar job.

              Thanks guys

I haven't had a need to ask for a lot here, but on each occasion the response has been great. Thanks all and I take this opportunity to wish you all a successful and happy, peaceful 2004.
