  • And so I bid adieu...

Yes, folks, ex-SalesSoup will soon be leaving the building. Matrox has been in my life for nearly 5 years and as of the end of December, it will no longer be the case.

I'm leaving the company after accepting a Sales Management position for a smaller company in a completely different industry. It offers a wealth of opportunities and will enable me to better see the results of my efforts.

I've thoroughly enjoyed being a part of MURC and being able to help ease some of the frustrations some of you have had to endure. I have nothing but good things to say about the people I worked with and wish the company continued success. I believe that Matrox will be around for a while, whether or not it delivers something that caters to each and every one of you.

I wish you all the best and thank you for (almost) never shooting the messenger.

Well, Soupy, sad to see ya go. Always hate to loose someone who's at the company and participates here.

Thanks for all your input, and good luck on the new gig

Yeah, it's gotta be hard to work in sales and marketing with no product to sell and market. That, and having DW involved guarantees regularly scheduled cock-ups.

I'm hoping this doesn't turn into a "bash Matrox" thread.

Good luck Soupy, and just because you no longer work for Matrox doesn't mean you aren't welcome here.

                      Soupy,

It's always been a pleasure having you post here, in an "official" capacity or not.

I hope you hang around long enough to let us know how life is going and that you are well... moving companies seems to be an inevitable part of life these days every few years, especially in marketing - I trust it is always onwards and upwards for you though.

Good luck and keep in touch,

                      George.

Btw, now that you no longer work there, you can spill the beans on Fusion, G800, tell us a bit on how far Pitou got, etc.
