Sweet. Speaking of casemods. How feasible is it to have a tube that connects from the side fan to the CPU fan. Since it's usually much cooler outside of my case. I was thinking of having it channel air directly onto my heatsink, then from the base of the heatsink, the hot air would blow outwards (since the fan on the heatsink technically does this now, the tube would simply take cooler air from outside the case and blow it down onto the other fan, which in turn would blow it onto the heatsink, which would then have air dissipate around it, which the exhaust fans would then shoot out the back and top.) This would easy enough to rig up, I think, but would it be practical and/or useful? The other reason I was thinking of doing this is the noise (the fan I have on the heatsink right now is quite loud, hough it does it's job. This in essence I think would muffle the noise from it.... Also then I could put some of those sound dampening mats on the case..)

Leech, almost sounds like ducting, which is common practice these days, even among the big guys.

Yes, it would work well, but it would not be quieter, on the contrary, since the heatsink fan would now be directly connected to the outside, so dampening wouldn't really affect it (though it would dampen the other fans and harddisks, of course).

I built a duct from the heatsink on my Duron 750 box to the case fan and just removed the heatsink fan. If you do it right and make sure the airflow goes where it's supposed to go (in this case I have it sucking to outside the case) it can even increase cooling ability. I get more, quieter, airflow from the case fan than that noisy POS, it's also supposed to effectively remove that "dead" spot in the center of the fan.

I REALLY like the idea of the LCD on the front. Though at the moment I'm kind of pooer (and probably the next thing I actually buy for my computer will be more harddrive space...)

Damn, someone else already did my idea? But it does work pretty well at least. Maybe one of these days I'll do it..... Right now the noisiest thing in my case is that new CPU fan I stuck on there. But it does keep it quite cool. Any suggestions on one of those temp monitor LCD's? There's quite a few of them out there on the market...

                            Is the LCD black?

You know, black computers are scientifically proven to be faster than the basic grey vareity.
