    Prescott will consume quite a bit of energy, analysts say, which means it will dissipate a lot of heat inside PCs, which has the potential to be damaging.
    Looks like we'll see the lights dim with this one and you can turn off the spaceheater.

    Good news for you all looking for a 3ghz chip... Cheaper prices!

    I've been looking for a nice SiloconDioxide based space heater. The thermal problems Intel is having with their 90um process will give AMD a chance to give Intel a little pounding, I hope. If they can ramp up the A64 clock speeds a few hundred MHz things will get very interesting.
