    Does anybody know how I can reverse the drive letter assignments to my 2 cdrom drives (D and E)?

    I changed the jumpers and cable order (they're on the same cable) and the bios reports them the way I want them, but Windows 2000 sees them reversed. I "deleted" them and let Win2k re-detect them but they appear in the same, incorrect order again.

    This was simple to do in Win98 and I'm sure I'm overlooking something, but I can't figure it out.

    Thanks in advance.

        2000 is pretty much the same thing as XP. Do what cjolley says and u should be good to go. You might have to reboot once after you make ur changes.

        Also if you just want to swap drive letters your gonna have to change one of em to something else temporarily.

        Current D -> G
        Current E -> D
        Temp G -> E

        *Reboot*

        Be happy!
