  • Hotfix for radeons with Call of Duty

    Call of Duty: system hangs or VPU recover error messages playing game
    This issue affects the following configurations:
    RADEON 9500 Series
    RADEON 9600 Series
    RADEON 9700 Series
    RADEON 9800 Series
    CATALYST 3.8 and later drivers
    Some users have reported that after the game is launched, the system may hang or produce a VPU recover error.

    Other boards may be affected.

    These are also "Catalyst 3.10 pre-release" drivers, as reported by Rage3D. I, of course, have no official comment.

      I know you're on the beta team, you evil traitor! Err, wait... I've got an 8500, I guess that's a good thing that you're a Catalyst tester with an 8500 too then.

      They seem to be working fine here BTW.

        I finished CoD with my 9700 Pro without one Problem...werid

        I thought this hotfix was a patch not a whole new set of drivers
        Ooops gotta redo my Minibox now
        Why is it called tourist season, if we can't shoot at them?

          CoD is a great game. I have a 9700 Pro too without any problems(except for the ocassional slowdown). This game is actually better than MOHAA!

              excellent plays quite well onmy aging 8500 using the orig 3.9 drivers
