  • Matrox RT2500 resets PC when using Premiere6

I have a problem with the RT2500 that just resets my machine when I open or use Premiere, it doesn't happen with After FX, 3DMax or any other App.

(It doesn't happen every single time.)

It usually happens when I start up Premiere and select the Matrox DV preset at the start.
Is this a hardware error or software related?

Any help will be much appreciated.

ShaolinWood, better ask this question on the Desktop Video part of the forum (or even better a moderator could move this thread to the desktop video forum ).

This is definitely hardware related in the sense that it may be conflicting with other hardware components in your system.

So having said that, it would great if you can give us detailed system specs and whats installed in order to first understand how things are setup.

          Regards,
          Elie
