  • G400 capturing problem with MJPEG

I had the G400 TV on shelf for years untill I run into the drivers on adis.szm.com
Installed them according to the mentioned setup.

In PC-VCR I can only ONCE (after install the Powerdesk drivers and VideoTools) capture Video with MJPEG. After that one time it is over, only YUY2 works, but my harddisk won't like that after 60 minutes of capturing.

Can anybody help me with this problem ? I want to capture smaller video's

    I run:
    Windows XP Pro
SP 1 and all other updated from micro$oft
    Powerdesk 5.91.008
    VideoTools 3.03

    Pc:
    Amd Athlon 2400
512 MB DDR 400 Mhz RAM
    Msi KT4Ultra
    Via Chipset driver V4.49

    HW MJPEG capture is unstable.
Use AVI_IO and PICVideo MJPEG SW codec.

I tried PicVideo, same result, First time install works, after that never again!
      Also triedMorgan MJpeg, same results.

      Where can I find AVI_IO ?

I also see that you use an older version of PD, 5.82.018. Any reason for that ?

It just worked from the beginning and I realize that is safer to use something tested and working.

The reason why I installed VT 3.03 is that I made something silly changes in the capture programs and I was forced to reinstall the VT. Adis adviced to reinstall 3.03 and it worked.
