  • Which version of MSP I should use?

    I have the following to choose:
    1) MSP5.0 SE that comes with RRG
    2) MSP5.2 retail box

    Since I am thinking of doing DV, I am thinking of the following
    3) Firewire card + MSP6.0 upgrade
    4) Pyro Pro

    I don't have much VHS tape to capture, and I have no analog videocam to start with. In fact, I am planning to buy DV cam soon.

    Is MSP5.2 sufficient for an ameature? I am just started in the video editing thing. I think I want to capture TV, and then maybe burn them, or play with editing my DV cam footage. I know 5.2 do not support firewire, but other than that, what extra features I am getting in 6.0 that I can't live without?

    Hope this newbie is making sense

    Pyro Pro. It's one helluva bargain and includes MSPro6. Check here for it;

    Videoguys price of $299 is a bargain and it comes with the full version of MSPro6 as well as a bunch of other stuff.

      Go the 6.0 way, much easier to use, more reliable and more features.
