  • Current wisdom re SB LIVE! on XP?

I just u/g'd a PC to XP Pro from 98SE (fresh install). Its a GA-6VX7-4x, 256MB, 20Gig, 866MHz P3, AIW Radeon (catalysts 3.8). All drivers from Windows Update except the CATs

Whats the current advice for installing the LIVE! (SB0060) with the frontpanel Livedriver? I *could* leave it out if this combo is likely to cause headaches...stability is important here. It always was a flaky machine under 98SE - one reason I u/g'd it. (previous troubleshooting wasn't done by me)

    TIA

I being a lucky b*stard, had no problems with stability when I had the Live! in my KT133 board under XP. As to the best procedure to install the drivers, I can't recall at the moment. That machine is a mile and a half away running the latest Live! Drivers.
