  • Help with graphics card

    I don't really know much about graphics cards.

    Take a look at this link. 4X? What does that mean? Help!

    In Theory it's supposed to be a faster way of delivering graphics from your graphic card to the system memory. Since most of the storage is done on the onboard memory of the graphics card this hardly comes onto play.
    Hence in you won't see much differance between agp x2 agp x4 agp x8.

      But does this machine actually have a graphics card? Normally I notice that in a spec it would saysomething like "64MB graphics" or similar, but this says nothing.

      Am confused, forgive my ignorance.

        Yes, it does. All PC's must have a video card, or nothing would be able to be displayed on the screen. This laptop has an ATI RS200M integrated Video Card.

          Kerry's work are offloading some surpless laptops.

          Although, for the money, i'd get a desktop pc everytime.
