They pick a pretty krappy selection of drives..

    liteon?
    NEC?
    samsung?
    aopen?
    asus?
    mitsubishi?
    plextor?

I like his recomendation, LG...didn't he recomend LG CDRW a while back? ...you know the ones that don't conform to ATAPI and blow them selves up.

As usual there is also one other huge screw-up................apples and oranges.

No use comparing drives running straight off an ATA controller with a USB2/1394 interface and then drawing scewed conclusions based on that.
